Mike and Greg are very close in age and as brothers. They own Xtreme Watersports, which features parasailing, jet skis, surf lessons and boat rides. They have several vans that pick up clients from their hotels on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu and bring them to their husiness. Then they return them after all of the fun is over. At the time of these pictures Greg was running the Parasail and Mike the Jet Skis. Both are U.S. Coast Guard certified. As you can tell - I am very proud.
The big treat in visiting them is having breakfast together at a local diner before they go to work. It is one of the only times that we really get to just visit.
Here we are joined by Mamie and Lauren for a special dinner out. The Asian food in Hawaii is really teriffic. I love it!
Greg is always telling me that he got his love of the water from me. When they were growing up we were lucky enough to have a home on the Gulf of Mexico so they always had boats of all sorts. I did introduce them to sailing, which they both love, and to water sports - good thing I did as they love their profession. Their children are all water rats and swim like fish. Every time I visit them I take the "x-treme" parasail several times - it goes 1,200 feet into the air and I absolutley love it. Both sons are excellent surfers also; however, they work so hard at their business that they rarely get to enjoy this passion.
A HEARTY BREAKFAST - WHAT A WAY TO START
THE DAY !!
i ALWAYS WANTED FOR MICHAEL AND GREGORY TO BE CLOSE WHEN THEY WERE OLDER. THEY NOT ONLY ARE CLOSE - THEY OWN A BUSINESS TOGETHER IN HONOLULU, WHICH MAKES ME VERY HAPPY.
