Netherland antillies

Dave had ordered a crane to be installed at Curacao Marina.  Obviously, it arrived but spent 10+ days in Customs so we were stuck at the boat yard and forced to work on other things  - Agggh

I loved Curacao as the architecture is just splendid.  The open market is wonderful and I went as often as I could.

Being quite a sophisticated island (for the Caribbean) I enjoyed a movie and several more urban things.

TWO OF MY MOST FAVORITE THINGS -  LOCAL ART AND SUNSETS

QUEEN JULIANA BRIDGE CONNECTING THE TWO SECTIONS OF DOWNTOWN WILLEMSTED;  SWAN SONG AT ANCHOR IN SPAANSE WATERS

WILLEMSTED - THE OLD MARKET AS SEEN FROM THE CANAL;  NOTICE THE QUALITY OF FRESHNESS IN THE OPEN MARKET

THE QUEEN WILHELMINIA BRIDGE LINKS THE COMMERCIAL AREA OF PUNDA WITH THE RESIDENTIAL AREA OF SCHARLOO - INTERESTING

AS YOU CAN SEE, THE ARCHITECTURE VARIES ACCORDING TO THE LOCALE - THIS IS A LIGHT FILLED AMSTERDAM IF THERE EVER WAS ONE

Here we are with  Linda and Gary on their catamaran Rainbow Rider.  We enjoyed seeing them again as we had spent a year or so together in Venezuela
